Drawing on my background as an interior designer and specialist making expertise, I consider not only how a window treatment is made, but how it sits within the wider scheme — its proportion, fabric, heading, hardware and finish.

Fabric is at the heart of every window treatment. Its weight, drape, pattern and composition influence not only how a curtain or blind looks, but how beautifully it will make and hang.

I work with an extensive library of fabrics from leading British and international textile houses, alongside fabrics specified and supplied by interior designers.

From bold pattern and rich colour to quiet texture and natural linens, each fabric is considered alongside the heading, lining, trim and construction to create a beautifully resolved finished piece.

Because the right fabric isn't simply about how it looks — it's about understanding how it will behave.

Traditional hand-finishing techniques sit alongside precise construction — from careful pattern matching and considered seams to hand-finished hems, linings, interlinings and beautifully executed headings.

It is this attention to the parts you see — and the ones you don't — that makes the difference.
