Coming from a creative family with professional roots in design and build, the studio’s Founder, Charmaine White, discovered her unique flair and entrepreneurial vision for interior design at an early age.

After being awarded a degree in Textile Furnishing Design & Manufacture, and the sought-after Diploma in Interior Design and Decoration from the prestigious KLC School of Design in Chelsea, Charmaine joined a well-respected, high-end design studio in London, renovating luxury spaces.

Charmaine’s deep understanding of the intrinsic relationship between people and their surroundings has not gone unnoticed in the world of interior design.

Her innate style and attention to detail quickly gained public recognition on British television after she reached the quarter finals of BBC’s popular design show, The Great Interior Design Challenge. Shortly after, she was named one of four elected feature-room set designers at Grand Designs Live.

Demand quickly grew for Charmaine’s residential interior design and in 2012 the White House Interiors was born.

Today, the studio manages and curates the full interior design process for fine homes throughout London and the Home Counties.  With a friendly, personalised and creative design service, the White House Interiors draws on the dreams and aspirations of its clients to create beautifully bespoke interiors, from concept to final installation.

The White House Interiors Collection offers a unique, handpicked edit of homewares, enabling you to create your own design-lead interior.  Each distinguished piece of furniture in the online boutique has been exclusively selected from local makers and makes the perfect gift for any home.

In 2019, The Whitehouse Interiors launched its new showroom and coworking space in the historic market town of Leighton Buzzard.  Visitors are welcome to view the collection, discuss interior design projects and attend workshops at the inspiring venue, by appointment.
