My Story
I think my love of fabric started long before I knew it could become a career.
Some of my earliest memories are of visiting Shepherd’s Bush Market with my grandmother — surrounded by rolls of fabric, colour, pattern and rows upon rows of trims and passementerie.
I can still remember the sound of scissors travelling through cloth before the fabric was torn from the roll. I loved that sound then, and I still love it now.
Looking back, I think that’s probably where it all began.
From fabrics to Interiors
That early fascination with textiles eventually became a career in design.
I studied Textile Design before training in Interior Design at KLC, going on to spend more than 15 years working in interiors and designing beautiful homes.
Those years taught me to see a room as a whole — to understand proportion, colour, material and detail, and how every element needs to work together.
But through it all, I kept finding myself drawn back to the tactile side of design. To fabric. To detail. To making.
Back to craft
Returning to craft hasn’t felt like starting something new. If anything, it has felt like coming home.
Today, I bring both sides of my experience together — the eye and understanding of an interior designer, with the craftsmanship and attention to detail of a maker.
I create bespoke curtains, Roman blinds and soft furnishings for interior designers and private clients, using traditional techniques and a genuine love of fabric and craft.
Because for me, a beautifully made curtain isn’t just about how it’s constructed. It’s about how it hangs, how it frames a window and, ultimately, how it makes the whole room feel.
